The Classes

Oh. My. Gosh. The breakin (breakdancing) classes are EXTRAORDINARY. I mean it.

Ok, so the instructors where absolutely awesome, and patient as WHOA. The people there are really supportive, and amazing at what they do. Yet...I didn't feel left out at all. I'm so glad my friend told me about it... because even though I've only been going for two weeks (1 class a week) I feel like i fit in there. It sounds corny, but i feel like i belong, and that I'm good at it. It's something i look forward to every week, and I can't wait until i get REALLY good. I'm on my way.And i might even sign up for the monthly memberships, because i have money saved up. I don't know...it could be cool to take hip hop too. At least i'm building the breakdancing background, because it gives you a lot of strength. Well, i should go.

And by the way, never let anyone tell you that you can't do something, because anything is possible.  Once again...corny, but true. I'm in a very inspirational mood, ok? hahahaha!

Well, keep trying hard new dancers!(I'm right there with ya)

Good Morning..

How are you all doing on this fine morning in New York? I'm doing ok, and still very excited about tomorrow's dance adventure (read previous blog). My plans for today are still up in the air as of right now, but I'm thinking a shower, maybe some wii fit/dancing time (pathetic dancing... you know, for fun. ha ha) and than maybe a little bit of quality time with good old Sasha (my ripstick.. which is like a skateboard). Later on my sister has the intentions of going to a local AC Moore for some craft materials, and hopefully I'll tag along.

I'm not exactly pimping a ten pound wallet, but I'd like to check out this book on designing graphic journals. It may sound dumb to some, but it showed simple tricks like using a metro card dipped in black ink to make a cool, edgy design on the side of a page.. and stuff like that. It was just very entertaining, especially when you love arts and crafts, and anything to do with the paint splattered, graffiti, street design look. I love that, especially when its on clothing like hoodies and shoes. You know, art like the picture I've put above. That kind of graphic art is just so awesome to me.
Well, i hope you all have an exciting and creative day. Do something you don't normally do, because if you don't you'll always wonder what it would have been like if you did.

Hey Again

Sigh.... my current boredom right now is unmeasurable. I'm glad to be on vacation, but i have a horrifying math test awaiting my return, as well as an equally horrifying teacher. That is definitely not luscious. Or as the Quileutes from la push would say.... "was taxak asi". That means "not so hot". Ah.... such a cool language. I promise all of you readers out there that i will go there. There, as well as L.A. They seem like odd places to wish to visit, but La Push, Washington is because of my Twilight series addiction, and L.A is because of its calm and cool kind of theme, and also the people there. I also confess that favorite bands and celebrities may be part of the reason. But whatever, call it stupid if you want. I'll go there one day.

I also have high expectations for this free class for breakdancing(maybe/hopefully hip hop) i found at a local YMCA. It sounds really awesome, and i here that there are about 25 kids there. I'm very excited, but also nervous. Knowing my clumsy self, I'll probably fall down in the middle of something simple. And also, these kids probably have a lot of experience. And I don't know how the class will play out, meaning I'm not sure if this is pretty much a place where kids who know how to do it go and freestyle, or they teach you moves step by step. I'm hoping its the second. Thats why i have to go a little bit earlier to play 20 questions whoever teaches the class. Haha! I also want to know if the place holds a hip hop class, because thats more of what I'm into. I'm also dragging my cousin along, since i don't feel like flipping over and snapping my neck in a room full of complete strangers. I really have high hopes for this though, because who has the money to pay for classes at all of these high end studios?! Not me, I can tell you that.

Well, everyone pray that the class isn't a bust, and the same for my spine.
I'll tell you how it was,
