One word......Twilight.
My new drug. People, its amazing. So amazing that you will fall in love with a fictional character. SO amazing that you will not put it down until you read at least a hundred pages in one sitting. And finally, its so amazing that I am going to see the midnight showing tomorrow with a horrible stomach ache and i wouldn't miss it for the world.
The novel keeps you interested enough through the first chapter or two. Interested, in other words, enough to keep you reading. Than at the slightest mention of Edward Cullen, the "god-like" vampire who quickly becomes all you care about it life eats away at your very mind. In all seriousness, the first time i read about Edward i didn't stop reading until they (Bella the main character and Edward) spoke. Than i was SO curious about him that i continued to read. And read. And read. With school work getting in the way, i managed to read the nearly-450-page book in a little over 2 days.
So, what I'd like to say is that.... well.... everyone has seen those crazy twilight fans on tv. TRUST me, if you read it (and your a female... sorry men its directed more towards us lady folk), you will become one of those crazy fans. You too will scream the name of the lead vampire with all the others. And I would like to say that i have NO problem with that. Its an amazing book that you dont really appreciate until you pick it up and get pulled in. I give it 10 stars (out of 5) and I advise everyone to read it fast so you can see the movie with us "Twilight zoners". Come see the move, which comes out on the 21st, or this friday. I will be there, I can assure you that.
Goodbye fellow twilight zoners and all you who will soon be corrupted!
bwahaha!
