So tonight i have to go to my future highschool. You know, freshman orientation kind of stuff. Now don't get me wrong, i really, really REALLY wanna graduate and head off to high school. But my desire to go to this orientation is like...50 percent. Why?Well I'll tell you why.
I don't like meeting people for the first time. I actually kind of hate it. Once again, don't get me wrong, i love being around people and laughing and all that jazz. But meeting people for the first time is the most awkward, uncomfortable thing i've ever had to do. It's like :
"Hi."
"Hi"
"so......"
"how's that weather?"
"dude, it's raining."
"uh..i know."
"ok."
"so....."
Something along those lines.
You see what i mean? it's like, some form of torture. What do you want me to say to you? I don't know you dude. Why should i be forced to talk to you under these incredibly awkward conditions? Agh! i'm such a freak, lol. Well whatever, i don't like introductions. Sue me. But honestly, theres nothing to say! If you ask a random question like "what do you like to do in your free time?" it makes no sense in the situation. So thats out. Now you could take the family route and be like "hows your family?", but with my luck, the kid's mom probably just died in a tragic horse accident or something, and the poor kid would run off crying. Its no use. It just HAS to awkward. But than the second time you meet them, they're like "OH HEY! WAT UP??!" and your thinking "why weren't you this enthusiastic the first time?!" and do you wanna know the answer? THEY felt awkward! Its a big chain or misfortune really.. and until you man up and say hi the second time, the only memory you'll have of that person is awkward silence.
Than again, I'm just being weird, like always. If your confident, and don't make the situation weird by feeling nervous, they're not shy either. And there you have a non-weird introduction to a relationship with someone. So why can't i just do it? The only answer is because i'm scared. So I'm going to try my best to walk into that school tonight, say hi and talk to every person i meet, and take away the awkward silence for the other kids that feel the exact same way. I just hope i don't chicken out....

hi allison! i actually made a blog a long time ago but i just deleted it and made a new one now. hahaha. weeeeell i'll post something tomorrow. wish me fun/luck tomorrow! and i wish you fun/luck at school too(;
